Investigating overall health and life quality of patients undergoing dialysis in chronic dialysis units

Background: Dialysis patients experience intense psychological and emotional changes symptoms that affect their daily quality of life. Aim: The aim this study is to investigate the factors affecting overall health life undergoing dialysis. Methods Material: This cross-sectional involves 49 dialysis, during June August 2019 in hemodialysis units Athens. Intentional sampling was used as method research tool questionnaire (KDQOL-SF ™ –2009). IBMSPSS 25.0 for data analysis. Frequency distributions were calculated, 95% confidence intervals with bootstrap techniques, while non-parametric rho-Spearman correlation coefficients KDQOL-SF subscales also calculated followed by multiple linear regressions Total Health Scale determine Results: most important positive findings regarding participants social support received 57.1%, encouragement from staff nephrology department 44.9%, cognitive function 82.4%, satisfaction 84.3%, work status 16.3%, pain 64,4%, sexual 37%, physical 58.8%, scored worst results. Scores representing well-being patient, a value closely related life, moderate. Conclusions: present shows need intervention planning ongoing monitoring, well creative employment programs achieve an improvement
